The architectural firms and general contractors are now requesting that there engineering consultants coordinate in BIM.Out of all engineers the Mechanical and Structural Engineers are the most likely to accept modeling in BIM format.  Although Engineers are also likely to see the lack of motivation for implementing the BIM process into their firms. Like Architects, Engineers will spend less time documenting the project and more time devoted to design.
