COBie Compliance
COBie stands for Construction Operations Building Information Exchange. The approach is to enter the data as it is being developed or installed, instead of trying to compile all the information at the end of construction. The current process of handing over paper documents is expensive, disorganized, and can lead to misinformation. Below is a list of various methods to produce a COBie 2 deliverable:
- COBie 2 compliant software
- Custom transformation of existing data into a compliant COBie 2 file
- Use of COBie2 spreadsheet
